In a letter to customers sent last week Prestone confirmed implementing a temporary surcharge on antifreeze of 50 cts/gal (concentrate and 50/50) for orders received between March 15th and June 30th (with ship dates no later than March 30th). The company cited a supplier’s declaration of force majeure as the reason behind the measure.
