MPG production in the USG was reportedly impacted by unexpected downtime this week. Last weekend the Indorama PO/PG unit at Port Neches reportedly shutdown before restarting earlier this week. At Plaquemine, Olin’s Chlor Akali plant in the Dow complex was shutdown following a leak and fire on April 18th that some sources claim led to the shutdown of Dow’s downstream PO/PG units (unconfirmed).
