CCG reviews short and long term trends in the MEG markets at Brazilian PET Conference

Industry focus on pricing trends & implication on PET cost

10/9/01 -- George West, Director of CCG in an address made to PET producers at the CMT Latin America PET Markets Conference in Sao Paolo October 9th and 10th noted short term uncertainty remains overshadowed by the likely return of normal demand trends and the prospect of a tight market heading into 2002. Mr. West also examined the timing of shifts in export production expected to center around the Middle East and the diminishing role of established players in the U.S. and Europe. The graphs below taken from the presentation and show  estimated production by region and expected market share by 2005.
