Matrix Chemical announced it will increase its acetone price 10 cts/lb effective April 1st. It cited supply constraints exacerbated by unplanned outages for both acetone and feedstock cumene in Texas following the winter storm in February and noted two upcoming April turnarounds. It also reported it will continue to allocate sales volumes to contract customers based on historic volumes.
