Principals confirm the 1.9 mln mt/yr M5000 methanol unit in Trinidad went down unexpectedly due to a pipeline failure. Repairs are ongoing but there is no word as to when it could restart. At least one spot barge was reported done today for 62 cts/gal, roughly 7 cts/gal above the level concluded earlier in the week.
